We use PCR technology with confirmatory plating to test for bacterial presence, and plating techniques to screen levels of total yeast and mold. Retesting is available for any product that fails.
The following organisms grow under the same conditions cannabis is grown in and are a serious health risk to consumers, so the state requires testing for them: Shiga-toxin producing Escherichia coli, Salmonella species, and total yeast and mold.
We reach out to every client before reporting a failure. We will work with you to identify the source of contamination and develop corrective action plans to clean and decontaminate the affected area.
With environmental testing, colonies can be quantified and morphology assessed to point at the source. We work with master growers, budtenders and chefs to keep grows, kitchens and retail spaces contaminant free.
